I was introduced to the game as a 8 year old kid. It was my mother who took most interest in this great game and forced me to join the Naqvi Cricket Academy in 98-99 season and I rose quickly to captain the team.

My career till now, spanning 10 years has been very satisfying. I have played club cricket in all levels and also led the school school cricket team. I have played Board trophy CK Nayadu and also represented my district in U-14, U-17 and the state in U-17. One of the highlights of my career was when I got selected to tour Pakistan (Lahore).

I also hold the record for winning the Best Batsman award given by Lucknow CA for five consecutive times staring from 99-00 season.

My other achievements include Cricketer of the year award in 2000-01 and best fielder award in Pakistan.Last year Spardha was really memorable for me with me winning the Best Batsman and also 2 man of the match awards including my debut as well as the finals.

In the IT team, I idolize Kapil Bhushan Srivastav. He was a great leader and took the game to new heights in IT.My all time favourites include Michael Hussey, Dravid, Sehwag and of course Sachin- the Batting Maestro.

I follow the motto “Respect the Game .The world will respect you. Dedication does matter.”
